Goodbye Kindergarten!

Wow. What a fast yet wonderful year of kindergarten for my boy. We went to Collins' classroom awards on Monday and he was presented with a 'Prince Charming' certificate. Ha! His friend, Jake, had a similar award, and one girl got a 'Drama Queen' award. Not the kind of awards day I was expecting, but it was fun! He also got a good character award the week before, which I'm so proud of. He is a great kid!

The only time you'll ever see Jake Goodin dab!

Jake went to McDonald's on the last day of kindergarten for a special breakfast for C and H. Didn't get a pic of C. Hadley left just that much food on her plate, but he ate the whole sausage biscuit...loves them!

Feels like last month :(

Baseball Party

Collins' baseball end-of-season party was held at the same time and day as Had's preschool program, so she and I missed it. Jake missed most of it, but took him to the park, talked to the team a little, then barely made it back in time! Collins stayed with Coach Eric, Mrs. Megan, and Brady until after the program, which he loved! Go A's!

Preschool Sunday

Preschool Sunday was on May 21. I used my bigger lens and the pics are blurry. Ugh!

We made eye contact and the faces began.

"Along came Jesus walking on the seashore"

Sweet Mrs. Mallory!

Sha-Sha!

The three fabulous yellow room teachers!

We love Mrs. Mindy!

Mr. Wallace, the custodian/AV guru/etc.

Chloe became a big sister the very next day!

Flower Girl for Ne-Nes

Hadley and I spent a lot of time in the car last weekend, driving from home to Double Springs, AL for Lindsey's rehearsal and the next day for her wedding...but it was worth it! Lindsey (or Ne-Nes as Hadley dubbed her and now a lot of the kids at preschool call her) is so sweet and had a beautiful wedding, despite the downpour! She loves my baby girl and that makes me so proud and thankful :)

Just after changing clothes and fixing hair in the car!

Meeting Mr. Chris for the first time.

We practiced outside and inside just in case...thank goodness!

She got to stand next to Miss Grace, another preschool teacher (who will get married next year)!

Lindsey directing!

Losing interest...

Lindsey gave Hadley a Baby Alive and a flower necklace with her name and birthstone on it. They share the same birthday!

Hadley giving her gift to Lindsey the week before (H is for Hadley and for Haynes!)

Morning of the wedding!

Grace did Had's hair since she's used to it :)

First attempt...failed!

Off to the photo shoot!

Precious to her mommy :)

I took this right as the photographer's flash went off. I think it looks cool!

Playing with Lindsey's dad's  boots (he also officiated)!

She ran out of petals half way down the aisle, turned around and motioned, "What do I do?!"

So she just hurried!

Yum!!

Chris is a marine scientist (which is why they're moving to Florida..sad!) and wanted a shark cake!

Congratulations to Lindsey and Chris! #hookedonthehaynes
