We bought pumpkins from a Boy Scouts troop this year, and through the honor system (left a check in a box!) They were at Midway United Methodist Chuch not far from us. We stopped after Collins got a haircut and before he had an eye exam. Productive day!

We visited Berean Baptist last weekend and they took our picture out front before we went in, and texted it to me. Cute set-up! We liked the church, too, but have another we want to try. So far, our favorite is probably First Redeemer.

Music & Nails

I took Hadley for a free trial class at Hawk Music Academy last Saturday afternoon. She was hesitant (as she is with most new things), but enjoyed it! I liked this place because it's nearby, and they teach all kinds of things. The same teacher we were with (Mrs. Sally) teaches voice, violin, and piano. They have other teachers, too. But...upon further research, they are very expensive compared to other places. We're going to hold off for now on Hawk, but I do want to pursue music a little more. Hadley said her favorite thing this time was the violin! I'm thinking let's start with voice and then add an instrument if the interest is still there. She also wants to do gymnastics, so we'll see!

After the music lesson, we went to the nail salon for her first mani/pedi! I always tried to get her to go get one and she'd change her mind at the last minute. Finally did it and I think she may be hooked!

Recent Play

We missed school this day for dentist and doctor check-ups, all in the same Vickery Village center! Afterward, we shopped a little and got ice cream at Chill Hill. Then the kids (and some other kids they just met) played with a ball Hadley had chosen as her prize from the dentist!

Play date at Savannah R.'s house! Collins was at Kyle's house.

Got to have lunch with my girl, and she actually wanted to sit on the stage in the cafeteria! You have to either sit there or in the butterfly garden when your parent comes; no adults sitting with the kids.
