I just dropped off my babies at preschool together for the last time! I didn't cry, but might before this post is over. Hadley is excited to go to the yellow room next year, and Collins is mostly excited about kindergarten. I've mentioned before the most exciting parts to him are a) no naps and b) a much shorter commute! I just realized today how I'm actually dreading the commute change. We've had so many good, funny conversations on the way to and from school. A vast majority of the 'Conversations with Collins' material comes from things he's said in the car. Maybe Hadley will keep me occupied in the next couple of years so I don't notice so badly our boy isn't with us. Or maybe I'll make him take rides with me at night just so I can talk to him more? Okay, that's a little dramatic (yet possible).

| Waking up as a preschooler for the last time! |
| One of a handful of times he's been in the car, buckled, ready to go before I even had to tell him! |
| Tying shoes! Took a good 5-10 minutes today. |
| Collins picked a flower for me. But Hadley wanted it for LaLa or Lindsey. And it was the only flower. So we shared. |
| "I wanna beep the keys!" |
| "Haddie" and "Lai Lai"! |
| The blue room has been hanging out with the yellow room friends first thing in the morning this summer. |
| Emma Claire, a new friend who will go to a different kindergarten. |
A few from the early years at UCP:
| First day in the red room, August 2012 |
| Love that Mrs. Anna! |
| Last day in the red room, July 2013 |
Picking him up in the afternoon:
| We love Mrs. Tammy! |
| Cleaning out his cubby... |
| ...and signing him out for the last time! boo hoo! |
| Loving on Miss Jordan |
| And Miss Miranda |
| And Mrs. Sandy |
| See ya, preschool! |
| I could cry! I can still imagine that tiny little boy trotting down that breezeway on days he didn't make me carry him! |
| We got home and found his letter telling him who his kindergarten teacher will be. So excited! We sent this pic to Mrs. Anna, who sent it to Mrs. Misty. Her response was, "Tell him I'm more excited than he is!" :) |
