Jake enjoyed his Father's Day weekend at home. We went to church, ate lunch/brunch at Southern Ale House (still don't love that place...I keep giving it more chances for some reason), and then he watched a little of the US Open and we went swimming. What sweet presents from his little ones who love their daddy!

Friend Birthday Parties
Hadley's friend, Audrey, had a tea party birthday party last month. It was precious and Hadley was SO excited to go! Once we got there, there were more people than she expected and she felt a little shy. But still, she loved dressing up and she loves Audrey!
Caroline had a birthday party a couple weeks ago and had a fun party, too! I love this sweet little friend and her mama :)

Baseball Party
VBS
The kids went to Vacation Bible School last week at Chapel Hill. Our church is having VBS later this month, but it's during the day and so harder to get them there. Chapel Hill's was from 5:15 (they ate there) until 8:30...so the kids were exhausted afterward (especially Hadley because this was also swim lesson week), but they absolutely loved it! I helped the first night, so got a few pics of Collins, but none of Hadley, other than the last night when they had water slides!
Football Camp
On June 2nd, Collins attended the 3rd and 17 Challenge Football Camp at Chapel Hill Baptist. He loved it! It was just Saturday morning and then we ate lunch there. Grammy was at our house visiting so she kept Had while Jake and I went to watch Collins some. They had some former UA players there and talked to them about God as part of it. Collins even caught a pass and scored a touchdown when they played their 'game'! Kurt was the friend who invited Collins, and after the camp was over he went to Kurt's house to swim. They have a FUN new pool!
Hadley's Swim Lessons
Last week Hadley took swim lessons from Mrs. Fanning, and now she's practically a fish! The lessons were at Mrs. Glenda's house (from church), but I realized around Wednesday that they don't even live there anymore and the house is for sale, ha! Hadley did not love lessons the first three days and was dreading even starting because she didn't want to blow bubbles in the pool. That seemed like the hardest part to her. But, through her tears and shaking body, she did everything Mrs. Fanning asked, and each day when Daddy and Collins asked her how it went she said it was great! hahaha By Thursday she was more relaxed and confident, and Friday she really showed out! We went to our neighborhood pool on Sunday and she did so great. Still needs more exposure to get even more confident, but I am so proud of all the work she did! I have some great videos, but only the short ones will post...
| Before lessons on Tuesday I think. She wanted "girls time"! |
