Jake ran in the Tuscaloosa Half Marathon last Saturday! He finished before his goal of two hours and I'm so proud of him. (I also think he's a little crazy, but mostly I'm proud.) haha ;)
In addition to running for 13.1 miles at 7am, he did so after getting home from Las Vegas on a work trip where he stood at a trade show for hours each day, and was still jet lagged from being on mountain time. He got in at 11pm Friday night and was at the race site by 6am! THEN he went home, showered, and met us at the ball park where he helped coach Collins' team in two ballgames.
I am tired just typing all that!
