We Do!

Last Sunday (3.6.11) was baby dedication at Five Points. And by baby dedication, what I really mean is parent dedication. We said "We do" to striving to raise Collins in a home where Christ is always first.

I can't imagine that the day would have gone any better! Collins didn't take his normal morning nap, which had us (ahem, Jake) a little (lot) concerned, but it worked out perfectly because he sacked out once the service actually started. The choir put him to sleep and the preacher kept him there ;) haha

After church we all went to Cypress Inn for lunch. Since there were so many of us they put us in the "Crow's Nest" room upstairs. About half way through the meal the other couple of tables of people left so it was just a Goodin/Chancellor room :)

We are so blessed to have a family who was not only willing, but genuinely excited to drive two hours on a Sunday morning to share this day with us. The actual dedication only lasted about 10 minutes. Jake's Mimi wanted to come and had planned on it till the last minute. It was cold that day, so she decided it probably wasn't best (wise woman).
