Sleepover(s)!

On Friday, the 18th, Collins spent the night at our neighbor's house to celebrate Patrick and David turning 10 years old...back in April! ha! Since there was going to be a calmness in the house, we decided to see if Laityn could come spend the night with Hadley. I didn't realize that was her first sleepover, too! So glad they got to share that together since they've been friends literally since they were infants :)

Hadley welcomed her with fresh picked flowers :)

Jake got them a milkshake after we ate. They ate it in one of their "epic forts"!

I thought they had slept till 8:30am, but walked in to this. They were making "the longest bracelet in the world"! They had planned to do this in the middle of the night, but Hadley was too scared to go to the playroom with Laityn to get the stuff, and Laityn was too scared to go without Hadley!

Meanwhile at the boys' sleepover:

The only two pieces of evidence I got! haha!

Hadley's (and Ellie's and Sadie's) Birthday Party!

There is no such thing as social distancing in this neighborhood. We tried at first, and quickly realized the only way it was possible was if we didn't allow our kids to play with their new friends at all. So, we limited H's birthday party this year to people she was already playing with all the time. Of course, we're now also going to school...so confusing. At least we were outside and the adults distanced. And the kids had fun :)

Patrick, Collins, Jace, David, Rooksby, and Barrett

Hadley, Courtney, Ellie, Sadie, Maddie

Ellie is 9, Sadie is 8, and Hadley is 7! Ellie's and Sadie's bdays were both the day of the party, August 29th.

Hadley's 7th Birthday!

She received cards from Aunt Tammy & Uncle Joe, Maw, MawMaw & PawPaw, and Granny :)

Blaire! The American Girl doll she's been wanting. Collins gave her those pink slides she's wearing and a fishing rod/tackle box :)

Her class sang "Happy Birthday" to her over Google Meets!

Mrs. Meriwether stopped by to bring her a card and blow pop!

Playing with Ellie :)

Mrs. Mary Loyd sent a water bottle that you decorate yourself. She LOVED decorating it, and said, "It's so calming." :)

Hadley requested breakfast for her birthday supper!

Sporting her Justice cap, sunglasses, and flip flops from Grammy & Poppa.

Loving this 'leather' jacket from Aunt Haylee, Uncle Jonathan, and Chance!

Her daddy and I gave her Blaire and a new Bible!

The next day, learning how to cast her new rod during a school break. It took half a day of some practice and she's got it! Collins taught her, of course!
