Hadley's Stay at Children's

Hadley had a couple of procedures done at Children's Hospital in Birmingham last Wednesday and Thursday. We had to be there very early, so Nana and Papa Joe helped us get Collins to day camp (thank you!) She had a scope and pH probe, and the probe is the reason for the overnight stay (to monitor for 24 hours). She did not love that tube being in her nose/throat, but got somewhat used to it and was a great patient. We are awaiting results to see if we need to do anything differently about her reflux.

Just getting checked in...loving on Daddy.

About to stroll down the hallway and into the OR.

Right after the procedure, before we even got in this room, a nurse made her so mad because she had to move the tape on her face/back :( Same nurse had to take it off the next day, too. Tough job!

Finally resting. Sweet baby!

We had a great view!

We loved the activity room, specifically for kids around her age. There were three or four age appropriate activity rooms, going up to a teen room with video games and such.

Playing with her happies from Mrs. Amanda Ingram (my co-worker and friend)!

Hadley liked that little window ledge.

We watched the sun set and talked about that little wagon out there in the rooftop parking deck. Ha! Then had supper and watched movies. H's first time to see Aladdin and she loved it!

Being silly!

The next morning...sitting in my 'bed.' I put a little make-up on her at her request :)

The Miss Alabama contestants were there, and we got to see Chandler Shields! She's a UA student and I actually gave her a mock interview once to help her prepare for Capstone Men and Women interviews!

Asleep on the ride home (meaning, no nap once we got home). Love this sweet baby girl!
