MLK Day

The kids and I were thankful to have no school or work for the MLK, Jr holiday. We went to the grocery store, then to see some people at Brookdale, then ate at Newks for lunch. I had chosen Newks so we could eat outside even if it started raining...then totally forgot to sit outside. But no worries, we got dessert and tried again. Hadley and I took a nap while Collins watched a movie (bless him for that!), then we went to our neighborhood playground a little while before going to Jalapeno's for supper (and sat outside)! Jake was out of town, so of course he missed all the fun.
