Visit From Maw and MawMaw

My grandmother and mom made a trip to T'town the weekend of the 23rd to celebrate Maw's birthday by shopping and visiting with us. Jake was sweet to kept Collins for me so I could go shop and eat lunch with them. It was so much fun!

Haylee and I have spent MANY a Saturday on shopping trips with these two over the years. We used to go to Jackson or Hattiesburg for school clothes shopping when we were in elementary/junior high/high school until Meridian finally got it together and built a decent mall! We used to spend the entire day shopping and then finish out with Krispy Kremes for the ride home.

Not joking about that 'entire day' stuff. Jake went with us one time (I think it was Christmas shopping in Hattiesburg) and we literally stayed until they locked the doors. He hasn't volunteered to go with us again. We were pre-dating age then, so it was just a chance to see me more, but not worth it! haha

This weekend was only 4 hours total, including lunch, so it was a breeze of a day ;)

They got to wake up Collins from his nap! He was so happy to see them :)

Looking at Maw's shoes. The boy loves shoes. He wouldn't wave bye-bye to me this morning because he was too busy looking at the shoes on Mrs. Wilda's steps.
